Conservatives retain control of EHDC
The Conservative Party retained control of East Hampshire District Council following Thursday’s local elections.
In total 32 Conservative councillors were elected, along with seven Liberal Democrats, two Labour and two Independents.
Following ward boundary changes, EHDC has reduced from 44 to 43 councillors, with many of the newly formed wards returning multiple candidates.
Alongside the district council election, town and parish council elections were also held with votes counted and results announced overnight on Thursday.
