NOTICE OF ELECTION

 

East Hampshire

Election of Councillors

for the Wards listed below

  1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, East Hampshire District Council, Penns Place, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4EX on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 19th January 2024.To book an appointment please either email: electoral.services@easthants.gov.uk or telephone: 01730 234350.

 

  1. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, East Hampshire District Council, Penns Place, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4EX, during the times stated above.

 

  1. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 15th February 2024.

 

  1. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 30 January 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

 

  1. 5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at East Hampshire District Council, Penns Place, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4EX by 5 pm on Wednesday, 31st January 2024.

  1. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 7 February 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

 

  1. 7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at East Hampshire District Council, Penns Place, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4EX by 5 pm on Wednesday, 7th February 2024.
