Neighbourhood Watch Report 02/03/18

05/02/2018 21:00 – 06/02/2018 08:00 – Criminal Damage – Between the stated times person(s) unknown  have  caused  damage  to the aggrieved’s  vehicle  by scratching  the car  twice  from front to back on the passenger  side  and  metal  can be  seen in the scratch whilst it  was parked in a  private parking  area in Prospect  Place.

 

14/02/2018 00:00 – 17/02/2018 13:00 – Criminal Damage – Vehicle parked locked and secure in cul de sac near The Carlings. Vehicle has been damaged by person(s) unknown pulling the Front Offside mirror smashing the glass in the process.

 

15/02/2018 08:30 – 08:37 – Suspicious – Person reporting white ford transit sign written with “Premier Carriers” with a male driver who is stating that he is a delivery driver however has been seen looking in people’s skips and gardens.

 

15/02/2018 18:26 – ASB – Report of nuisance youths in an alleyway in Nursery Road area.

 

18/02/2018 02:31 – Suspicious – Informant reporting that there is a male who is trying to get into houses in the road. He tried to get into the informant’s house. Male was dressed all in black with a hood. Police attended and found the male who was heavily drunk and required assistance to find his way home.

 

19/02/2018 15:30 – 20/02/2018 08:15 – Criminal Damage – Aggrieved reporting that between times stated unknown person(s) have scratched her vehicle all the way along passenger side of the vehicle whilst parked on the road in Claines Street.

 

19/02/2018 18:15 – 20/02/2018 07:30 – Theft – Informant reporting theft of lead from roof of Alton Infant School.

 

19/02/2018 22:15 – 22:45 – Theft – Informant reporting over the stated time period person(s) unknown have stolen lead flashing from the roof of the school.

 

19/02/2018 23:21 – Suspicious – Informant reporting seeing a couple of youths aged 17-20 jumping the gate from Eggars School. They walked very quickly left towards Treloars. Not seen to be carrying anything. Appeared suspicious due to the time of night and their mannerisms.

 

20/02/2018 13:12 – Suspicious – Unknown male knocking at informant’s door, saying he was from ‘The Courts’. Area search no trace on police attendance.

 

22/02/2018 11:15 – 11:30 – Criminal Damage – Person reporting between the times stated a bus stop on Anstey Road has been smashed by a group of youths who have smashed up the bus stop using their clothes to wrap around their fists to then damage it.

 

22/02/2018 23:43 – Suspicious – Informant reporting two youths walking around suspiciously. The informant’s front door sensor light activated and he saw a male in dark clothing with hood up and dark rucksack walk across the front of his house past the kitchen window on his land. Saw a second male with the mentioned male.

 

23/02/2018 04:30 – 23/02/2018 11:53 – Theft of Motor Vehicle – Between the stated time aggrieved reporting the theft of his vehicle which was parked near to his home address in Butts Road.

 

24/02/2018 16:00 – 27/02/2018 16:00 – Tampering with a Motor Vehicle – Aggrieved reporting between stated times, unknown persons have smashed the windows of the Scout bus to gain entry and then have caused damage inside.

 

24/02/2018 17:48 – ASB – Informant reporting drone flying close to houses in Windmill Hill area.

 

01/03/2018 17:15- ASB – Informant reporting local youths who have been using a quad bike and a mini motor scooter by the garages in Skylark which have caused upset with the noise.

 

Beech

 

01/03/2018 00:30 – 02/03/2018 07:45 – Burglary – Aggrieved’s shed and garage have been broken into, a quad bike and tools have been stolen.

Bentley

 

24/02/2018 22:50 – ASB – Informant reporting a car is being driven around the playing field potentially causing damage. Area search no trace for the vehicle, no obvious damage visible.

 

Bentworth

 

21/02/2018 11:00 – 14:00 – Burglary – House broken in to while occupiers were out, rear kitchen window smashed and various items of jewellery taken from different upstairs bedrooms after untidy search.

 

Binsted

 

16/02/2018 17:00 – 17/02/2018 12:00 – Criminal Damage – Informant reporting that between the times stated the large electric roller shutter door on the garage has been forced open to about five inches by person(s) and means unknown.  The key box was removed and taken away.

 

Blacknest

 

16/02/2018 12:00 – 17/02/2018 12:50 – Burglary – Aggrieved reporting that their out building was broken into some time overnight. Doors have been forced causing damage to locks. Nothing believed to have been taken.

 

19/02/2018 13:30 – 13:56  – Suspicious – Informant reporting a suspicious vehicle – Ford open back tipper with two white middle aged men in the front. They were driving around the industrial estate very slowly for about half an hour, stopping and reversing up to properties and looking into all the units. A worked approached the males who appeared to be looking for scrap.

 

Bucks Horn Oak

 

25/02/2018 14:00 – 15:00 – Suspicious – Report of unknown male trying car door handles in rural car park. Area search carried out by police, no trace.

 

Chawton

 

20/02/2018 14:00 – 22/02/2018 09:00 – Burglary – Between times stated person(s) unknown have accessed a shed on the farm premises and stolen tools and machinery from within. A tipper trailer was also believed to have been stolen within this same period.

 

Holybourne

 

15/02/2018 04:00 – 04:15 – Suspicious – Informant reporting small flat-bed lorry drove into Inhams Road in Holybourne in the early hours of the morning and appeared to be up to no good. Believed to have spotted informant as they got back in the truck and drove away quickly.

 

26/02/2018 14:05 – Suspicious – Informant reporting that a white van has been driving around the area looking at properties. Last seen at 14:05 hours. The vehicle has been driving down different roads really slowly looking left and right then drove off through the village.

 

Kingsley

 

26/02/2018 21:00 – 27/02/2018 05:00 – Theft of Motor Vehicle – Aggrieved’s Land Rover Defender has been stolen from the drive of their home address.  Person(s) unknown have removed gate from its hinges to gain access to vehicle. Aggrieved still has keys for vehicle.

 

Medstead

 

20/02/2018 16:26 – Action Fraud – The victim has been in contact with a suspect who stated they were a UK resident. The suspect has told the victim they had travelled to Australia as her mother had died. The suspect then claimed to be travelling back to the UK with an inheritance cheque but they have been stopped in Dubai and fined by customs. The victim has started paying these fines. The victim then decided to contact the suspects local MP where they have been informed this is fraud.

 

 

Monkwood

 

20/02/2018 03:44 – 03:46 – Suspicious – Informant calling to report that a truck and trailer pulled into their farm property very early in the morning and sat on the driveway for approximately 1.5 mins. Thought this might be relating to scoping out of the property for potential burglary.

 

Shalden

 

16/02/2018 11:15 – Suspicious – Informant reporting silver pickup truck he believes to have been involved in poaching in fields in Shalden area.

 

 

Worldham (East)

 

17/02/2018 02:59 – 03:30 – Criminal Damage – Informant reporting a further instance of persons breaking onto farm site. Entry gained by cutting 2 locks on 2 gates. Believed they were there to steal property but left empty-handed.

 

25/02/2018 17:29 – Suspicious – Informant reporting Jeep Cherokee P454UAV driving across 3 fields in East Worldham. Believed to be related to poaching.
