Neighbourhood Watch

Please be aware of the following incidents that have occurred or been reported during the period 15/10 – 25/10/17.

Alton

 Between 0000 and 0015 on 15/10, the church bins at St Lawrence Church in Church Street were set on fire.

It was reported on 17/10 that black spray paint had been graffitied on all the skate park equipment at Anstey Park.

Between 1730 on 16/10 and 0540 on 17/10 entry has been gained to a Commercial Premises in High Street, the main front door was forced open and entry gained to a shop and rear office.  £15 was stolen from the till tray.

Between 2215 on 16/10 and 0815 on 17/10 a commercial premises in Drayman’s Way was broken into.  Money from the till and safe totally £5,000 – £6,000 was stolen.

Between 1700 on 16/10 and 0800 on 17/10 a water bowser has been stolen from housing development in Basingstoke Road.

Between 1700 on 19/10 and 0630 on 20/10 a building site in New Odiham Road has been broken into and 3 container doors damaged and key to a JCB Forklift stolen.

Between 1900 on 20/10 and 1600 on 21/10 a wing mirror has been hit whilst vehicle was parked in Queens Road.

Between 0430 and 0445 on 24/10, Makita tools and a Sat Nav were stolen from a van parked in Eggars Close.

Between 1800 on 14/10 and 1100 on 24/10 a wing mirror has been removed from a vehicle parked in Nursery Road.

Holybourne

 Between 1400 and 1440 on 15/10 a stone was thrown through the windscreen of a vehicle in Vindomis Street.

Between 1200 on 13/10 and 1010 on 16/10, two sheds at a property in London Road were broken into.  A number of tools and vehicle accessories were stolen.

Lower Farringdon

 Between 2315 on 16/10 and 0930 on 17/10, 7 x metal pheasant garden ornaments have been stolen from the tops of fence posts in Gosport Road.

Selborne

 Between 2200 on 17/10 and 1000 on 18/10 entry has been gained to a garage at Maltbys and cupboards searched.  Nothing has been stolen.

Medstead

 Between 1900 on 22/10 and 0020 on 23/10 several bits of redundant metal leant up against a garage were stolen from Foul Lane.
