Public Participation – Members of the public are very welcome to join the meeting.
Members of the public will be invited to introduce themselves and if they wish to do so address the meeting on matters of interest to the Parish Council, whether the issue is included in the agenda or not. Thereafter members of the public are welcome to observe the meeting but will be unable to speak on issues to be discussed unless specifically asked to do so by the Chair.

5. | Planning and Development* |
Current and ongoing planning applications will be discussed at the meeting and comments will be made: –
22652/006 – Deerhurst, The Shrave, Four Marks, Alton, GU34 5BH Proposal: 2 dwellings, 1 detached garage, creation of new access off Oakwood View with landscaping to the rear & associated works SDNP/23/04404/FUL Naturetrek Ltd Wolf’s Lane Chawton Alton Hampshire GU34 3HJ Proposal: proposed single storey extension to create additional office space *-The Parish Council can make observations regarding the Parish as a whole and comment on applications made but there is no guarantee that these comments will impact the ultimate decision.

6. | General Activity |
Discuss and review the ongoing objectives and activities of the Parish Council (Detailed in Appendix 1).
6.1 – Co-option of new Councillor/s 6.2 – Authorise tree survey for 2024 (pencilled in for 17th January 2024) 6.3 – Speed Camera application 6.4 – Decision on Grant for Cricket Club 6.5 – Lease for village car park update 6.6 – Decision on coronation bench 6.7 – Update on volunteers for Neighbourhood Plan 6.8 – 100 years since the Village Hall opened – thanks to all those involved. 6.9 – Bus shelter Roof – J A House to request a quote from the roofers employed there. |

Thank you to all who attended the litter pick in early October. Another event will be organised for the Spring.
