1 Apologies

3. Minutes of last Meeting
3.1 To approve the minutes from the previous meeting.
4. Updates
4.1 Update from the District Councillor(s)

4.3 Update from the Clerk : Resignations from Cllrs Murray and O’Connell had been received and accepted.  There has been no request from the public for an election therefore the Council will now co-opt.

 

5. Planning and Development*
Current and ongoing planning applications will be discussed at the meeting and comments will be made: –

At the EHDC Council Meeting 23rd September 2012 the Councillors voted to remove the ‘preferred large site’ status from Chawton Park Farm (CPF) and committed to taking forward all four options on an equal basis for further detailed investigation with evidence-based sustainability and deliverability etc.

They also made it clear that the process going forward will not be any sort of rubber-stamping exercise. EHDC has also written to Michael Gove to demand fairer (lower) housing needs figures for districts like ours with large a % of District in a National Park.

 

1 Springfield Cottage – SDNP/21/04341/LIS Extension to existing garage structure and new lobby to rear of existing dwelling.

Chawton Recreation Ground – SDNP/21/04929/TCA Tree Works

The Dovecote Gosport Road – SDNP/21/04479/LDE Conversion of existing ‘Kennels’ and ‘Dovecote’ buildings to dwelling

 

*-The Parish Council can make observations regarding the Parish as a whole and comment on applications made but there is no guarantee that these comments will impact the ultimate decision.

6. General Activity
Discuss and review the ongoing objectives and activities of the Parish Council (Detailed in Appendix 1).

6.1 J A House update – Lizzie Dunford

6.2 Outdoor Classroom – Logs have now been delivered and an application for the reduction in the overhang of the adjacent tree has been submitted.

6.3 Stiles & Kissing Gates – MS to walk the footpaths with Contractor – waiting for a date.

6.4 Speed Indicator Devices – a meeting with the traffic team is still required, Farringdon PC are looking at installing similar devices on the A32 and are looking for a donation towards.

6.5 Wildflower Meadow – PS

 

 
7. Financial Review
Clerk salary & overtime/ ID Verde bin emptying/ Semrah Mowing

8.1

Members of the public may make representations, answer questions and give evidence at a meeting in respect to items on the agenda.

·       The period of time designated for public participation at a meeting shall not exceed 10 minutes and a member of the public shall not speak for more than 3 minutes unless directed by the Chairman of the meeting.

Please inform the Clerk at least three days prior to the meeting providing any relevant paperwork for the Council if you wish to participate during this session.

The Council undertakes to listen to the speaker and may ask questions of clarification they are not required to answer questions raised during the same session.
